Community Jeans Days at FNB Benefit Community Action, Inc.

Employees of The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton (FNB), Punxsutawney Branch, recently donated $545 to the Adult Education Project at Community Action, Inc. through donations gathered during the FNB’s Community Jeans Day program. Community Jeans Day is an FNB employee program benefiting local organizations within the Bank’s footprint. Employees of the Bank are encouraged to donate each month and in return, are permitted to wear jeans on Fridays. All money raised goes back into the community through gifting to local, non-profit organizations such as Community Action, Inc. “Being part of the community and supporting local endeavors is important to FNB and our employees participation in our community spirit is valued,” stated Amy Wundrack, FNB’s Punxsutawney Branch Manager. “The Punxsutawney staff elected to donate to Community Action, Inc.’s Adult Education Project in recognition of the many projects CAI provides throughout Jefferson County and the importance of education in meeting life and employment goals,” added Wundrack.
