Volunteer Income Tax Assistance

Project Description

Community Action, Inc. provides free income tax preparation for federal, state, and local tax returns. All Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) volunteers receive local training and are required to certify through the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) annually. This service is available to Clarion and Jefferson County residents with income less than $67,000 annually.

VITA is always recruiting volunteers to assist as greeters, preparers, and quality reviewers.
