Transitional Housing is financed in part by a grant from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development and in part by the United States Department of Health and Human Services under the administration of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Community and Economic Development.
What is Transitional Housing?
- Transitional Housing is designed as a bridge from homelessness to self-sufficiency for those who apply and meet eligibility requirements
- Receive intensive case management
- Assistance finding permanent, adequate housing
- Budget counseling, including mandatory savings plan
- Assistance with applications for other services (such as welfare, training, employment, etc.)
- Referrals given
