Housing for Homeless and Disabled Persons Project is financed in part by a grant from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development and in part by the United States Department of Health and Human Services under the administration of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Community and Economic Development.
What is HFHADP project?
- Provides permanent supportive housing to homeless and disabled people for those who apply and meet eligibility requirements
- HFHADP housing is provided through individual housing units in the community leased by Community Action, Inc. and sub-leased to the HFHADP participants
- Receive intensive case management
- Budget counseling
- Assistance with applications for other services (such as welfare, etc.)
- Referrals given
- Establish financial resources to pay rent on a monthly basis
