Thanksgiving Meals Distributed in Clarion County
This Thanksgiving 380 families comprised of 847 Clarion County residents were giving thanks for the donated meals on their table. Community Action, Inc., through the generosity of the KDKA TV Turkey Campaign, Friends for Food, and local donations, was able to provide families with gift certificates to purchase their Thanksgiving meals. Local donors included: American Legion Post 66 and Auxiliary; Members of the Clarion Chamber of Business & Industry (Food Stock); Clarion University Eagles Ambassadors; National Wild Turkey Federation; First Presbyterian Church of East Brady; Kingsville United Methodist Church; and many individual donors.
