Community Action, Inc. Names INDIANA County Senior Corps-RSVP August Volunteer of the Month

Community Action, Inc. announced Beverly Popovich of Indiana was selected to be the Indiana County Senior Corps-RSVP Volunteer of the Month for August. Beverly has been a member of the Senior Corps-RSVP since March 2006 volunteering for Aging Services, Inc.’s Two Lick Senior Social Center in Clymer. Beverly helps serve the Super Suppers, sends cards to Center participants and helps with lunch and special activities. When asked why she volunteers, Beverly stated, "I enjoy coming to the Center and doing what I can to help out. This is a wonderful Center to attend and volunteer. Everyone who comes here is very friendly and makes everyone feel welcome.” When Beverly is not volunteering, she enjoys shopping, collecting dolls and spending time with her family and friends. Beverly attends the St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church. Community Action, Inc.'s Senior Corps-RSVP is very proud to have Esther as a member.
