Are you currently unemployed, needing to find a new career or wanting to improve your academic skills? Community Action, Inc.'s Career Development Project can help! This FREE four week Class is designed to assist you in taking the next steps toward obtaining a rewarding career and improving your employment skills. The New Choices Career Development component includes: COMPUTER SKILLS TRAINING; career assessment and exploration; job training, search and readiness skills; stress and time management skills; self-esteem and confidence building; goal setting; resume writing, and interviewing skills. While attending classes, transportation and child care assistance may be available and class graduates may be eligible for future education financial assistance. Classes will be held Monday through Thursday beginning July 9, 2012 at Jefferson County-DuBois Area Vocational-Technical School (Jeff Tech).
