Clarion County Kindergarten Registration Dates
Will your child reach the age of five this year? If so, it is time to register them for kindergarten. Kindergarten registrations will be held in March and April for Clarion County school districts -- please see the list below. Eligibility varies by district and you should contact your school district for specific details. Allegheny-Clarion Valley School District: April 19 and 20. Parents must attend a meeting on April 17 at 6:00 p.m. to obtain information about the district’s transition practices and registration procedures. Clarion Area School District: April 12 and 13. Parents must attend a meeting on April 2 at 6:30 p.m. to obtain information about the district’s transition practices and registration procedures. Clarion-Limestone School District: March 22 and 23. Parents must attend a meeting on March 15 at 6:00 p.m. to obtain information about the district’s transition practices and registration procedures. Keystone School District: March 6, 7 and 8. Parents must attend a meeting on February 23 at 7:00 p.m. to obtain information about the district’s transition practices and registration procedures. North Clarion County School District: Children can be registered for kindergarten any time from February until the beginning of school. Please call (814) 744-8541 for more details. Parents must attend a meeting on March 22 at 6:30 p.m. at the elementary school to obtain information about the district’s transition practices and registration procedures. Children who are not enrolled in the district pre-kindergarten program will need to complete a screening on March 27. Redbank Valley School District: April 17, 18, 19 and 20. Union School District: April 12 and 13. Parents must attend a meeting on March 29 at 6:00 p.m. to obtain information about the district’s transition practices and registration procedures.
