Community Action Needs Volunteers!

With the ever increasing demand for consumer services and the decrease in federal and state funding, Community Action needs volunteers to help provide consumer and support services.

A sample of volunteer jobs include: providing consumers with information and referrals; technology instructor; adult education tutor; data entry clerk; income tax preparer; assisting with food distributions; working with victims of domestic violence; and many others.

Volunteer opportunities exist at Community Action sites in Punxsutawney, Brookville, Brockway, Clarion, Rimersburg, Foxburg, DuBois and Clearfield.

This is an excellent chance to become active in your community and make a significant impact in the lives of your friends and neighbors!

To learn more about Community Action’s volunteer opportunities, please contact Susan K. Fusco, Community Services Director, at (814) 938-3302, ext. 219, toll-free at (800) 648-3381 or via email at sfusco@jccap.org.
