Community Action, Inc. Names INDIANA County Senior Corps-RSVP October Volunteer of the Month

Community Action, Inc. announced Charles “Chuck” Waddell of Armagh was selected to be the Indiana County Senior Corps-RSVP Volunteer of the Month for October. Chuck has been a member of the Senior Corps-RSVP since September 2010 volunteering for Indiana County Community Action Program (ICCAP) Brush Valley Food Pantry. Chuck helps unload the food truck, sorts and packages food and assists with distribution. When asked why he volunteers, Chuck stated, "Volunteering keeps me busy and I enjoy helping the people.” Chuck is a member of the Vintondale Fireman’s Club; Bolivar American Legions; Vintondale VFW; St. Casimir's Beneficial Association; First Russian American Club; and the Polish American Club. Community Action, Inc.'s Senior Corps-RSVP is very proud to have Chuck as a member. He depicts the true spirit of volunteering and is dedicated to making a difference in people's lives.
