Community Action, Inc. Names CLARION County Senior Corps-RSVP October Volunteer of the Month

Community Action, Inc. announced Shirley Kerr of New Bethlehem was selected to be the Clarion County Senior Corps-RSVP Volunteer of the Month for October. Shirley has been a member of the Senior Corps-RSVP since November 2004 volunteering for the New Bethlehem Valley Thrift Shop where she sort clothes, stock shelves, and assist customers. When asked why she volunteers, Shirley stated, "I love volunteering at the Thrift Shop. I enjoy the people and have made a lot of friends.” When Shirley is not volunteering she enjoys her animals, doing crafts, and spending time with family and friends. She is a member of the New Bethlehem First Church or God and a member of Eastern Star. Community Action, Inc.'s Senior Corps-RSVP is very proud to have Shirley as a member.
