Community Action, Inc. announced Barry Custer of Seward was selected to be the Indiana County Senior Corps-RSVP Volunteer of the Month for September. Barry has been a member of the Senior Corps-RSVP since May 2006 volunteering for the Indiana County Community Action Program (ICCAP)United Area Food Pantry. Barry helps unload the food trucks, sorts and packages the food and assists with distribution. When asked why he volunteers, Barry stated, "I enjoy the people and helping where I can. This is a great group of people to volunteer with.” When Barry is not volunteering, he enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He is a member of the Price Gallitzin Pontoon Boat Club and attends the Valley Grace Brethren Church. Community Action, Inc.'s Senior Corps-RSVP is very proud to have Barry as a member.
