Community Action, Inc. Names CLARION County Senior Corps RSVP September Volunteer of the Month

Community Action, Inc. announced Shirley Lerch of Curlsville was selected to be the Clarion County Senior Corps-RSVP Volunteer of the Month for September. Shirley has been a member of the Senior Corps-RSVP since March 2001 volunteering for Clarion Area Agency on Aging's Rimersburg Senior Center. Shirley assists with packaging home delivered meals and helps with other Center activities as needed. When asked why she volunteers, Shirley stated, "I enjoy volunteering and coming to the Center, it keeps me active.” When Shirley is not volunteering, she enjoys reading and doing jigsaw and word puzzles. She attends the Curlsville United Methodist Church. Community Action, Inc.'s Senior Corps-RSVP is very proud to have Shirley as a member.
