Community Action, Inc. Names CLARION County Senior Corps-RSVP August Volunteer of the Month

Community Action, Inc. announced Genevieve Lerch of Curlsville was selected to be the Clarion County Senior Corps-RSVP Volunteer of the Month for August. Genevieve has been a member of the Senior Corps-RSVP since March 2001 volunteering for Clarion Area Agency on Aging's Rimersburg Senior Center. Genevieve assists with packaging home delivered meals and the lunchtime meal program. When asked why she volunteers, Genevieve stated, "I enjoy volunteering and coming to the Center. Everyone is very nice and it keeps me active.” When Genevieve is not volunteering, she enjoys reading and jigsaw and word puzzles. She attends the Curlsville United Methodist Church.
