Community Action, Inc.'s LEARN Project<br/>Recognizes the First Brookville Child Born in 2012

Community Action, Inc.’s Local Education and Resource Network (LEARN) Project prepared a baby basket which contained educational toys and resource information for the first Brookville baby born in 2012. Elizabeth and Michael Reed welcomed their first child Derek Michael Reed on January 4, 2012. He was born at DuBois Regional Medical Center (DRMC). Community Action, Inc. has many resources available for parents about quality early learning, including tips for choosing a child care facility, developmentally appropriate practices and ensuring your child has a successful and smooth transition into kindergarten.
